Bio Magnetics was founded in Israel since 1997. The first few years it had been developing its technology under and with the support of the Chief Scientist of the state of Israel.

Bio-Magnetics Ltd. ("BM”) is an innovator in the field of Biotechnology and Micro and Nano Handling, and its technology is a breakthrough in the field of Diagnostic and Combinatorial Chemistry for the pharmaceutical industry. BM designs, patented, engineers and manufactures solutions for Bio-medical testing.  Specifically, it specializes in Magnetic Separation technology for DNA separation, liquid transferring and handling, Micro & Nano handling and devices for clinical and research laboratories.

BM has an array of developing technology and of accepted patents, patents pending and new patents in all areas of its expertise.  Bio-Magnetics, and its multi-national partner, are now interested in long term licensing agreements for the placement of their technology. We can facilitate the engineering and/or assembling of our Combinatorial Magnetic Separation (CMS) Machines and/or Separate Work Stations (to be used with standard 96 or 384 micro well plate). Basically, BM can work with any customer’s existing robotics and equipment or create new stand alone machines. For practical presentations of our technology we have manufactured Demonstrator Models and Prototypes that include:

• Combinatorial Magnetic Separation (CMS) mini machines with partitioned work stations (see Magnetic Separation Technology in this site XX).

• A 96 Pin (magnetic), fully automatic combinatorial machine, with partitioned work stations (available also 12, 16, 32 (etc.) pins to fit 96 or 384 standard well plate) with complete production files.

• Development of an automatic combinatorial liquid transferring and handling machine to fit 96 or 384 standard macro well plate (available for 8, 12, 16, 32 (etc.) pins) with complete production files. Magnetic separation and liquid handling, together, can be synchronized to work on the same macro well plates.

Concurrently, BM has developed more patented items for the Biotechnology and Diagnostic industry to be distributed and sold through distributors and / or multinational companies. They include:

• Disposable patented Tips for Magnetic Separation (see Magnetic Separation Technology in this site XX). These Ultra Thin low cost 30 micron Tips will make the testing process more much faster and efficient.

• Patented micro well plates with bottom thickness of less than 30 micron. They will make the magnetic testing process more efficient and are available in different sizes and shapes, according to customer’s request; they are also extremely competitive in cost.

• A unique inexpensive, revolutionary, hand held Magnetic Separator TowinOne MS™ with 16 or 8 magnets (inter-changeable) that functions with standard 96 and 384-well plates.

• A unique low cost, revolutionary, hand held Magnetic Separator MagPick 1 ™ with one magnet.

• A Pipettor (16 or 8 pumps) that can operate in any lab, with standard 96 and 384 well plates.  The same pipette can transform 16 channels to 8 channels and back with the simple turning of a switch; therefore, one need only buy one device for the two channels of 16 or 8. The patented device is unique with potential sales to most labs worldwide.

• Liquid handling Tips.

• BM provides services for development of classified automatic machinery, and also disposable items for the Bio/ Pharma industry. All its products are protected by patents and patent pending.
